Smart Talk, Blow The Whistle and Cool Militant collided on the first turn. Blow The Whistle galloped on the heels of Smart Talk approaching the home turn checking Smart Talk.

Smart Talk underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Handler Mr. Martin Galea regarding his conduct behing the boxes, after hearing evidence from Mr Galea no further action was taken.

Fire Hose was quick to begin. Deltoid and Federal Red collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Brad Mayo was quick to begin. Ebony Magic galloped on the heels of Boomburst on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Go Bang and Shine On Mikado collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Brad Mayo raced wide entering the home straight.

Mr. Fawnstone, Major Lighting and Barooga Banjo collided on the first turn. McIvor Clyde and Nangar Ellie collided on the second turn. Aussie Bear and Cindy Fuso collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn checking Cindy Fuso. McIvor Clyde galloped on the heels of Cindy Fuso on the home turn checking McIvor Clyde which collided with Major Lighting. Major Lighting and Barooga Banjo collided in the home straight. Barooga Banjo, Nangar Ellie, Cindy Fuso and Aston Laurent collided approaching the winning post.

Miss Demonica – New declared weight of 28.6kg, last raced at 26.1kg.

Jagger's Lady and Callum's Capers collided soon after the start checking Callum's Capers which lost ground. Miss Demonica, Rev Up Freddy and Jagger's Lady collided approaching the first turn.

Callum's Capers underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Lights and Brewski Bruce collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn. Brewski Bruce and Our Elly Bye collided approaching the home turn severely checking Our Elly Bye. 

Our Elly Bye underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Lektra Nick and Lektra Sammy with Kennel Representative Mr P.Hammerstein and noted their comments.

Bugs and Lektra Sammy collided approaching the first turn. Lektra Nick, Bugs and Lektra Sammy collided on the first turn checking Bugs. Lektra Nick and Craftsman collided approaching the home turn.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Big Bluey Rocks became dislodged during the running of the event.

Lektra Nick underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Midda's Missile was quick to begin. Mepunga Bounce and Over Slips collided approaching the first turn checking Over Slips. Our Danny and Mepunga Bounce collided in the home straight.

Orlando, Decimate and Earn The Answers collided on the first turn.
