Steward's Report
Slingshot Trojan and Big Boy Brooke were slow to begin.
Big Boy Brooke veered out on the first turn and marred Slingshot Trojan and underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Deborah Carr, the trainer of Big Boy Brooke regarding the greyhound’s racing manners from the first turn to the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Big Boy Brooke was charged with marring. Ms Carr pleaded guilty to the charge, Big Boy Brooke was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
