Stewards spoke to Mr John Bosnich the trainer of Max Fawn after the greyhound lost considerable ground over the concluding stages of the event.  In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr Bosnich to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Max Fawn in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Winnindoo Wendy underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported.

Ms Angela Langton was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Left Right Now pursuant to GAR 33.

Wild Bob underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a spike wound to the right hock. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Orson Thunder underwent a post-race veterinary examination after the greyhound faltered on the second turn and pulled up. Orson Thunder was found to have a fractured right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the catching pen attendant and reminded him of his responsibilities when operating the run back gate This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

Ms Rebecca Romyn was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Meet Joe Black pursuant to GAR 33.

Crowdza Back – New declared weight of 36.1kg, last raced at 37.3kg.

Jezzali underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the Trainer and was found to have a fractured right hind toe. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Ask For More underwent a post-race veterinary examination after the greyhound lost ground entering the home straight. Ask For More was found to have a left shin injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

This race was delayed by approximately 1.5 minutes due to operational matters.

Affair Beauty underwent a post-race veterinary examination after the greyhound collided with Rare Sapphire several times and lost ground over the concluding stages of the event  - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Martin Hanke regarding the racing manners on the third turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr Hanke, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued. 

Rare Sapphire underwent a post-race veterinary examination after the greyhound collided with Affair Beauty several times and lost ground over the concluding stages of the event - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Reginald Marriner regarding the racing manners on the third turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr Marriner, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued. 

My Name's Phil underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a contusion to the left tibia and abrasions to the right hind toes, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative Shelly-Ann Warde, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), My Name's Phil was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Warde pleaded guilty to the charge, My Name's Phil was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
