All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 28.8 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.6 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

The Stewards were advised that the track was deeply harrowed on 14/02/2022.

Draconian underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right wrist injuries. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Salience – Late scratching at 13:37 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to heat stress and dehydration.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Inky's Fireball and Mr Fawnstone were quick to begin. McIvor Jimmy and Limberg Bell collided soon after the start.

Champ Duran, Mattying and Ellie Bliss collided on the first turn severely checking Marrying and checking Ellie Bliss.

Son Of Indy underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

College Girl – Late scratching at 13:30 due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. Paul Ellis was fined $100.

Dewana Fair Go – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.
