Second Pick underwent a pre-race veterinary check due to stress related vomiting in the kennels and was cleared to race.
Second Pick was quick to begin. Lakeview Bonnie was slow to begin. Lakeview Bonnie checked off Lara's Love soon after the start. Aston Bel Air and Lakeview Bonnie collided approaching the home turn checking Lakeview Bonnie.
A post-race sample was taken from Crowdza Dazzled - the winner of the event.
Lakeview Bonnie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind fibula injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
