Mystical Zendik was quick to begin.  Sicilian was slow to begin.

Lily Jane and Iron Lad collided soon after the start.  Evaded and Sicilian collided approaching the first turn.  Mt. View Buck galloped on Lily Jane approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Sicilian contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground.  Sicilian and Lily Jane collided on the first turn severely checking Lily Jane.  Mt. View Buck galloped on Lily Jane on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, causing Lily Jane to fall and tail off.  Evaded and Iron Lad collided on the first turn.  Aston Anza checked off Evaded entering the home straight.  Aston Anza and Iron Lad collided in the home straight.  Aston Anza checked off Iron Lad in the home straight causing Aston Anza to lose ground.  

Sicilian underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Mt. View Buck underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Lily Jane underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right thigh injury and an abrasion to the right achillies.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Dimple and Scooter Boots were quick to begin.

Zardora and Car Dealer collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Dimple and Scooter Boots collided on the first turn checking Dr. Lysandra.  Zardora and Car Dealer collided on the first turn checking Orcades.  Car Dealer checked off Zardora approaching the home turn.

Son Of Indy, Meat Murphy and Seamer were slow to begin.

Halwes and Barwidgi collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Barwidgi and She's So Amazing collided on the first turn.  Seamer shifted out and raced wide on the first turn.  Razor Roy checked off She's So Amazing in the back straight.  Halwes and Barwidgi collided approaching the third turn checking Barwidgi.

Seen Better was quick to begin.  Bus Driver was slow to begin.

Alumni, Dashing Dante and Seen Better collided approaching the first turn.  Alumni galloped on Dashing Dante on the first turn checking Alumni, Dashing Dante and Seen Better.  Seen Better checked off Alumni approaching the home turn.  Alumni checked off Dashing Dante approaching the home turn.  

Berdeen - New declared weight of 26.2kg, last raced at 24.9kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zander.

Major Winston was slow to begin.

Went For Swim, Berdeen and Bernadette collided soon after the start.  Loretta Bale, Soda Pee Wee, Berdeen and Went For Swim collided approaching the first turn checking Berdeen.  Bernadette and Major Winston collided on the first turn checking Bernadette.  Loretta Bale and Major Winston raced wide in the home straight.

Berdeen underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen and was found to have an abrasion to the left fibula.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Sunset.

Reggae Mikado was slow to begin.

Aston Sunset, One Night Only, Omega Gringo and Zylon Bale collided soon after the start.  Omega Tyson and One Night Only collided approaching the first turn.  Maelynn Bale and Aston Sunset collided approaching the first turn.  Omega Tyson galloped on Aston Sunset on the first turn checking both greyhounds, causing Omega Tyson to race wide.  Reggae Mikado raced wide in the back straight.  Omega Gringo checked off Zylon Bale approaching the home turn.

Aston Sunset underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Aston Solar and Zipping Margo collided soon after the start.  Heaven's Tower and Aston Solar collided approaching the winning post.

Small Soldier - New declared weight of 26.6kg, last raced at 25.4kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Miss Somerton.

Galloping Suzy was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Peachy Went Bams and Small Soldier collided several times from soon after the start to approaching the first turn.  Peachy Went Bams, Small Soldier and Dundee Topaz collided on the first turn severely checking Peachy Went Bams, causing Small Soldier and Dundee Topaz to fall.

Galloping Suzy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr R. Conway regarding the greyhound pulling up before the return gate. After considering the submissions from Mr Conway, a warning was issued on this occasion. Mr Conway was advised that if the greyhound was to pull up before the return gate again it would be placed on a satisfactory trial.  

Small Soldier underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Dundee Topaz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have multiple fractures to the right tibia and fibula. Dundee Topaz was humanely euthanised.

Bell Park Dragon and Aston Dynasty were quick to begin. Legasov Bale and Howdy Slim were slow to begin.

Miss Martina, Two Face and Little Swagger collided approaching the first turn.  Legasov Bale and Howdy Slim collided on the first turn.  Powder Burn, Two Face and Little Swagger collided approaching the home turn checking Two Face.  Powder Burn checked off Little Swagger on the home turn.  

Tough Like Atom was quick to begin.  Shake The World and Midnight Breeze were slow to begin.

Gracie's Girl and Our Magic Turbo collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Tough Like Atom checked off Destini Trucker on the first turn.  Our Magic Turbo checked off Midnight Breeze on the first turn causing Our Magic Turbo and Shake The World to lose ground.  Tough Like Atom and Star Hawk collided approaching the home turn.  Gracie's Girl galloped on Tough Like Atom on the home turn checking Tough Like Atom.
