Steward's Report
All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting, and catching greyhounds.
A sample was taken from Sir Champ upon arrival at the course.
Mink Lake was quick to begin.
Daylen Bale and Sir Champ collided soon after the start. Daylen Bale crossed out wide soon after the start. Dr. Neeki and Sir Champ collided soon after and again approaching the first turn. Weblec Flare crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Ridge. Ridge, Dr. Neeki and Sir Champ collided approaching the second turn checking Dr. Neeki and Sir Champ. Weblec Flare and Donny Rocks collided approaching the second turn. Donny Rocks and Defensible collided on the second turn. Donny Rocks and Mink Lake collided approaching the home turn checking Mink Lake. Sir Champ checked off Mink Lake approaching the home turn. Sir Champ checked off Ridge on the home turn causing Sir Champ and Defensible to collide checking both greyhounds.
