All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Mighty Thanos was slow to begin.

Felonious Gru, That's Life and Enrique Fernando collided soon after the start, checking Enrique Fernando; causing That's Life to fall.  Mighty Thanos checked off Felonious Gru on the first turn.  Felonious Gru visably eased and turned its head outwards approaching the home turn.

Felonious Gru underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Garry George, the trainer of Felonious Gru regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Felonious Gru was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr George pleaded guilty to the charge, Felonious Gru was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

That's Life underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have cervico-thoracic injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Mighty Thanos – the winner of the event.

The start was delayed by approximately one and a half minutes due to holding for a Ballarat harness race.

Speedy Cashew and Zulu Jack collided soon after the start.  Slingshot Rusty, Xandra Bale and Black Delight collided on the first turn; severely checking Black Delight.  Speedy Cashew checked off Zulu Jack on the first turn.  Slingshot Rusty and Xandra Bale collided entering the home straight; causing Slingshot Rusty to stumble and fall; checking Zulu Jack; severely checking Son Of Pookie, which tailed off.  

Slingshot Rusty underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg monkey muscle, left foreleg deltoid muscle, left and right foreleg wrist injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Son Of Pookie underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg wrist and monkey muscle injuries.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Xandra Bale – the winner of the event.

Flamboyant Lad and Watch The Clock were slow to begin.

Flamboyant Lad and Watch The Clock collided approaching the first turn.  Uforo Bale, Maverick Sandy and Zipping Bronte collided on the first turn; checking Maverick Sandy and Watch The Clock.  It's Only Money and Bella Beauty collided approaching the home turn.  Uforo Bale and It's Only Money collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Flamboyant Lad checked off Watch The Clock in the home straight.

Plaintiff was quick to begin.  Very Jiggling was slow to begin.

Zipping Dudley, Very Jiggling and Moraine Suzie collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Dudley galloped on the heels of Caiden's Mate on the first turn; checking both greyhounds.  Moraine Suzie checked off Very Jiggling on the first turn.  Zipping Dudley and Very Jiggling collided on the home turn.Caiden's Mate and Moraine Suzy collided in the home straight.

Caiden's Mate underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg wrist injury.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Trainer, Mr Jack Campbell was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Aston Pablo pursuant to GAR 33.

Stagger Out Lee and  Aston Zulu collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Zulu and Aston Pablo collided on the first turn.  Stagger Out Lee checked off Pechey's Babe on the second turn; checking Aston Zulu and Aston Pablo.  Trenzalore checked off Pechey's Babe approaching the third turn.  Stagger Out Lee checked off Mick's Kimmy on the third turn.  Aston Zulu galloped on the heels of Stagger Out Lee approaching the home turn; checking both greyhounds.

Aston Zulu underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Rothford was slow to begin.

Inga Ollie faltered soon after the start and tailed off.  Tinted checked off Inga Leo on the first turn, checking Poison Sky.  West Song and Blue Tick Fern collided in the home straight.  West Song and Inga Leo collided in the home straight.

West Song underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Inga Ollie underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and deemed it was satisfactory for racing.

Ten's Enough was slow to begin.

White Flower, Molly Tessa and Capra collided soon after the start.  White Flower checked off Jen Jumbo Prawn on the first turn.  Capra checked off White Flower on the first turn; checking Aussie Built.

A post-race sample was taken from Brewski Bruce – the winner of the event.

It was noted that the muzzle of Brewski Bruce became dislodged. 

Stromboli was quick to begin.

Smirkey, Usman Bale and Zipping Winks collided soon after the start, checking Usman Bale.  Belena Blaze checked off Usman Bale on the first turn.  Zipping Winks checked off Smirkey approaching the home turn.  Decimate checked off Toolong Tiger in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Rip The Pip.

Sugar Freak and Rip The Pip were slow to begin.

Rip The Pip, Lektra Asha and Thybulle Bale collided approaching the first turn; checking Rip The Pip and Lektra Asha.  Fend Them Off and Nimble Sami collided on the first turn, checking Nimble Sammi; severely checking Thybulle Bale and Keep It Sassy.  Nimble Sammi and Lektra Asha collided in the home straight.

Aston Attack was slow to begin.

Scatterbox and Sinful Angel collided on the first turn.  Pride Into Power and Lektra Gal collided approaching the home turn, checking Aston Attack; causing Lektra Gal to fall.

Lektra Gal underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Rahela Bale and Stay Together were quick to begin.

Reiko Langer and Robin's Choice collided soon after the start.  Sagrantino, Rahela Bale and Stay Together collided approaching the first turn; checking Stay Together and Bullying.  Sagrantino checked off Rahela Bale on the first turn, checking Fletch.

Winlock Punky – Late scratching at 5:18 pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to dehydration.  A seven day stand down period was imposed. 

Jimmy Reiko and Marcus Moloney were slow to begin.

Maximum Shim faltered on the first turnand lost ground.  Laxman checked off Aston Stella approaching the home turn.  Laxman and Saint Tess collided approaching the home turn.  Laxman raced wide on the home turn.

Maximum Shim underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle muscle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
