Aston Galahad was slow to begin. Huey’s Dream, Scatterbox and Dr. Xander collided soon after the start. Scatterbox and Dr. Xander collided on the first turn checking Scatterbox. Irish Hope and Aston Galahad collided approaching the home turn. Impending and Aston Galahad collided approaching the home turn. Amazing Roy and Aston Galahad collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Amazing Roy underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left wrist. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
