All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 20.7 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.5 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

In A Blue – Late scratching at 8.38am due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mrs Michelle Mallia was fined $100.

Rocco – New declared weight of 35.0kg, last raced at 36.3kg.

Quarantined – Late scratching at 6.24am when Mr Shane Millsom reported the greyhound to have Diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Woolybully Keats, Ivanka Tea and Zipping Petra collided soon after the start checking Ivanka Tea and severely checking Woolybully Keats which fell as a result. Zipping Petra and Savannah Lee collided approaching the first turn checking Savannah Lee. Woolybully Keats underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and a spike wound to the right rear paw. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
