One's Opinion and Coalville Girl were quick to begin. Queen Of Shiraz was slow to begin.
Dr. Ronald checked off Victory Rose soon after the start. Rich Hips clipped the heels of Victory Rose soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Yahiro Bale and Coalville Girl collided approaching the first turn checking Coalville Girl and Charizard. Rich Hips and Queen Of Shiraz collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Ronald. Coalville Girl contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Victory Rose galloped on the heels of Coalville Girl approaching the home turn severely checking Coalville Girl and Victory Rose.
Coalville Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Dr. Ronald underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
