All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Tidy Up Girl was quick to begin.

Affair Beauty and Striker Jack collided soon after the start.  Tidy Up Girl, Seven Ounce and Blow My Mind collided approaching the first turn checking Blow My Mind.  Tidy Up Girl and Affair Beauty collided on the second turn.  Tidy Up Girl shifted out and raced wide approaching the third turning checking Affair Beauty.  Striker Jack checked off Seven Ounce on the home turn colliding with Dark Pearl and Blow My Mind checking Striker Jack, Dark Pearl and Blow My Mind.

Radical Rex was slow to begin.

Bonnie Too Good and Stagger Out Lee collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Bonnie Too Good checked off Stagger Out Lee approaching the first turn.  Bewitching raced wide on the second turn.  Tannymorel Lass checked off Flaming Rush on the third turn.  Radical Rex galloped Stagger Out Lee on the third turn.

Bobby Bull Shark was quick to begin.  Rock Icon was slow to begin.

Jessie's Brew and Cabernet Girl collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Rock Icon and Trenzalore collided on the first turn checking Trenzalore.  Bobby Bull Shark visibly eased on the second turn.  Emma's Image shifted out and turned its head outwards on the second turn.  Bobby Bull Shark and Emma's Image collided entering the back straight checking Jessie's Brew.  Bobby Bull Shark, Emma's Image and Rock Icon collided approaching the third turn.  Emma's Image shifted out and visibly eased on the third turn checking Bobby Bull Shark and Jessie's Image.  

Bobby Bull Shark underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain and a right calf injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative, Mrs Simone Fisher regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the second turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Bobby Bull Shark was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs. Fisher pleaded guilty to the charge, Bobby Bull Shark was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B(1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Emma's Image underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mrs. Julie Chilcott, the representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the second and third turns.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1), Emma's Image was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mrs. Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Emma's Image was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

It's A Brew and Greysynd Shock collided on the first turn.  Greysynd Shock galloped on Dusty Lyn on the third turn severely checking Dusty Lyn.  Peaky Blazer, It's A Brew and Wizardry Magic collided approaching the winning post.

Dusty Lyn underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Entranced was quick to begin.  Zipping Thor was slow to begin.

Gentleman Thief and Zipping Thor collided on the first turn.  Harrell Bale brushed the running rail on the first turn.

Harrell Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf, back muscle and triangle injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Torpedo Tears and Fernando's Quest collided soon after the start.  War Drum Express and Torpedo Tears collided on the first turn checking Torpedo Tears.  Weblec Scout and I'm Not Budging collided on the first turn.  War Drum Express and I'm Not Budging collided on the second turn and again on the third turn.

Son Of Indy – Late scratching at 8.37am Steward Non-Penalty - Stewards Permission. 

Jax Star checked off Winnie Coaster and collided with Shim Bob on the first turn checking Jax Star and Shim Bob.  Poison Sky and Wish You Well both brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Wish You Well and Shim Bob collided on the second turn and again approaching the home turn.

Mighty Marvin – Late scratching at 8.36am when Miss Kayla Cottrell reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Wooden Fingers. 

Zarate was quick to begin.

Fairytale Nacho shifted out and raced wide on the first turn.  Wooden Fingers checked off Blue Tiger on the third turn.  Zarate and Our Fabio collided entering the home straight.

Limburg Rapid was slow to begin.

Rufiano, Invictus Jaxson and Nikephoros collided on the first turn checking Limburg Rapid, Aston Velvet and Redzin.  Nikephoros and Aston Velvet collided in the front straight.  Nikephoros contacted the running rail approaching the second turn.  Rufiano checked off Nikephoros on the second turn.  Rufiano marred Limburg Rapid on the fourth turn checking both greyhounds. 

Nikephoros underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Rufiano underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Ricky Jarvis, the trainer, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the fourth turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Rufiano was charged with marring.  Mr. Jarvis pleaded not guilty to the charge, Rufiano was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
