Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Mountain Stew and Joyous Hope collided soon after the start checking Mountain Stew. Milo Rose and Gunther collided approaching the first turn severely checking Milo Rose, All Inn Velvet and Joyous Hope. He's A Rebel and All Inn Velvet collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, causing All In Velvet to fall and He's A Rebel to tail off as a result. Fritter, Mountain Stew and Who Knows Chloe collided approaching the home turn. Joyous Hope and Who Knows Chloe collided several times in the home straight.

He's A Rebel underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

All Inn Velvet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have mild abrasions to the front left wrist and left hind toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Gunther - winner of the event.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Yallock Lass with Mr. Jordan Formosa and noted his comments.

Keep The Spirit and Mystery Talent were slow to begin.

Elli's My Girl – Late scratching at 10:58 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right rear toe injury.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Big Leigh was slow to begin.

Flying Mercedes and Jezzali collided soon after the start.

All Inn Cash was slow to begin.

All Inn Cash and Iron Hand collided on the first turn checking All Inn Cash. Emma's Image, Lethal Vision and Another Mick collided on the home turn causing Emma's Image and Another Mick to race wide.

Emma's Image underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Lethal Vision underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Josh Duncan regarding the racing manners of Emma's Image on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Duncan, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Geoff Fisher regarding the racing manners of Lethal Vision on the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Fisher, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn..

Walking On Fire was slow to begin.

Awesome Asset and Sukhoi Su collided approaching the first turn checking Awesome Asset. Awesome Asset, Rockstar Harley, Solar Charge, Flying Bella and Husky Freckle collided on the first turn checking Flying Bella and severely checking Rockstar Harley, Solar Charge and Husky Freckle.

Solar Charge underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a small abrasion to the front left stopper. No stand down period was imposed.

Rockstar Brass was slow to begin.

Bold Voyager and Joyous Venture collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Bold Voyager contaced the running rail approaching the home turn. Diva Dot and Rockstar Brass raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Bold Voyager underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have minor abrasions to the left elbow and hind paw. No stand down period was imposed.

Our Flying Bolt, Our Harriet and Aston Lancealot collided soon after the start checking Our Flying Bolt and Our Harriet. Mr. Vinnie and Itchy Kaala collided approaching the home turn and agian on the home turn. Itchy Kaala and Our Flying Bolt collided entering the hime straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Aston Lancealot - winner of the event.

Mr. Neville Bischard requested an early race endorsement for Indigo Indy.  The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian.  Indigo Indy will compete in early races until further notice.

Grudge and Proven Blazer collided approaching the first turn checking Proven Blazer. Indigo Indy and Twilight Connie collided on the first turn checking Twilight Connie. Especial Elise and Twilight Connie collided approaching the winning post.

All Fear was slow to begin.

Switched, Amnesty Girl and Riptide Buddy collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Switched and Amnesty Girl collided on the home turn.

Amnesty Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Emmett's Regret with Mr. Jordan Formosa and noted his comments.
