Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Stewards spoke to kennel representitive Mr Robert Camilleri in relation to the scratching reasons of Tomato Tears and noted his comments.

Well Grounded was quick to begin. Indy Fido was slow to begin. Nine Nine and Big Wings collided soon after the start. Indy Fido, Nine Nine and Big Wings collided approaching the first turn checking Nine Nine. Javier Bale, It's Not Fun and Zipping Vernon collided on the first turn checking It's Not Fun causing It's Not Fun to race wide. Indy Fido checked off Big Wings on the first turn. Big Wings, Javier Bale and Zipping Vernon collided on the second turn checking Javier Bale and Zipping Vernon. Zipping Vernon checked off Javier Bale on the third turn.

Mcinerney and Zippy Tesla were slow to begin. Mcinerney shifted out wide soon after the start. Gypsy Vista and Zippy Tesla collided approaching the first turn. Tan Star checked off Daph's Zach approaching the second turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Shanlyn Kim. Shanlyn Kim, Resurgence and Aston Amigo collided in the first turn checking Shanlyn Kim and Aston Amigo causing Resurgence to fall. Zipping Rambo checked off Mirror Illusion approaching the second turn. Zipping Rambo and Zipping Ontario collided on the home turn.

Resurgence underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right calf muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Post-race samples were taken from Gypsy Urana (Blood) (1st) and Mirror Illusion (2nd). 

Eat My Dust, Fernando Frank and Aston Ulysses collided soon after the start checking Fernando Frank. Bobby The Brute and Mepunga Felix collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Mepunga Felix, Eat My Dust and Fernando Frank collided entering the front straight checking Mepunga Felix and Fernando Frank. Bobby The Brute and Aston Ulysses collided entering the back straight. Eat My Dust and Aston Ulysses collided entering the home straight. Paddy Wants Pats checked off Graclyn Bale in the home straight, collided with Thunder Tears and lost ground as a result.

Malayah Bale was slow to begin. Mr. Speaker checked off Suntory Rose soon after the start. King Of Calypso checked off Fernando Cazz entering the front straight and lost ground. Mr. Speaker checked off Suntory Rose in the front straight.

Bounce Back, Grace's Spirit, Gintoki Bale and Drako Bale were slow to begin. Tyler Durden and Untapped checked off Bounce Back on the first turn and raced wide entering the front straight. Instruction checked off Tyler Durden entering the front straight. Grace's Spirit checked off Gintoki Bale entering the back straight. Instruction and Zipping Panama collided on the home turn. Aston Lavinia was quick to begin. Zipping Alabama was slow to begin. Highly Explosive, Aratuza Bale, Dundee Ember and Mt. View Emma collided on the first turn. Highly Explosive checked off Aratuza Bale entering the front straight. Mt. View Emma checked off Dundee Ember on the third turn and lost ground. Aston Lavinia checked off Mepunga Warrior in the home straight.

Post-race samples were taken from Highly Explosive (1st) and Mepunga Warrior (2nd). 

Zipping Virginia was slow to begin. Enter The Son, Aston Harlow and Midnight Flash collided on the first turn severely checking Aston Harlow and Midnight Flash. Tynslee Bale tired and lost ground from approaching the home turn.

Tynslee Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right hamstring. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Jungle Deuce and Trout were slow to begin. Javi, One Night Only and Maelynn Bale collided soon after the start. Aston Adonis and Trout collided approaching the first turn. Full Moon Party and Javi collided on the first turn checking Full Moon Party. One Night Only, Full Moon Party and Aston Adonis collided approaching the second turn. Maelynn Bale checked off Jungle Deuce approaching the second turn checking Trout. Javi checked off Jungle Deuce entering the back straight. Full Moon Party checked off Trout in the back straight.

Kanji Height, Westside Warrior, Flying Lantern, Killashandra and Roxy Ouzo were slow to begin. Kanji Height, Westside Warrior and Flying Lantern collided approaching the first turn.
