Stormy Lights - Late scratching at 9:59am due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Scott Millard was fined $100.

Yield and Ozzie Dan collided soon after the start.  Knuckled and Cybertruck collided at the 300m mark. 

System Glitch - Late scratching at 5:46am when Georgia Gray reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Stewards delayed the 'All Clear' in order to review the positioning of the lure in the vicinity of the 150m mark with reference to GAR 55 (1). After reviewing all available video footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards were satisfied that no runner was substantially inconvenienced so as to affect the outcome of the event and therefore the 'All-Clear' was declared.  

Otiose and Balmoral were quick to begin.

Otiose and Morosis collided at the 125m mark and again at the 75m mark checking Otiose.

Scaramouche began awkwardly at box rise.  Scaramouche, For The Thrill and Ingenuity collided soon after the start.  Breakaway Benji and Wake Up Dusty collided several times from soon after the start to the 200m mark.  For The Thrill crossed in at the 300m mark checking Hot Tzarina, Invictus Murray and Scaramouche.  For The Thrill checked off Breakaway Benji at the 50m mark.  Breakaway Benji checked off Wake Up Dusty approaching the winning post.  Hot Tzarina clipped the heels of Wake Up Dusty approaching the winning post. 

Ms. Lucky Leaves was quick to begin.  Aston Jupiter went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Perfect Flossy and Beach Master collided soon after the start.  Beach Master and My Bro Joe collided soon after the start.  My Bro Joe checked off Low Planes at the 300m mark.  Perfect Flossy crossed out at the 250m mark checking My Bro Joe and Low Planes.  Perfect Flossy and Ms. Lucky Leaves collided at the 150m mark and again approaching the 100m mark checking Ms. Lucky Leaves.  Wiggle It Bart crossed in and collided with Perfect Flossy at the 75m mark checking Perfect Flossy.

Rumour Is Face and Lots Of Chatter were quick to begin.

Uptown Trixie - Late scratching at 7:37am when Julie-Anne Hopper reported the greyhound to have general soreness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Russia With Love - Late scratching at 8:15am when Brett Mackie reported the greyhound to be vomiting (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Bella Porscha with Tony Cortese and noted his comments.

Joyous Promise and Murt Law collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark.

Bella Porscha underwent a post-race veterinary examination (frequency of racing) - no apparent injury was reported. 

Miss Cosmic Lee was quick to begin.  Joyous Venture was slow to begin.

Gold Skulltula and Saint Phoenix collided soon after the start.  Assume Kealy and Tinker Calie collided at the 125m mark.

Joyous Venture underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right pencil and right hip muscles.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
