Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Kanji Height and Midoriyama were slow to begin.

Elabree Mercury and Indy Korie collided soon after the start.  Gypsy Toowoomba, Elarbee Mercury, Indy Korie, Kanji Height and Zippy Tesla collided on the first turn checking all five greyhounds.  Gypsy Toowoomba and Indy Korie collided approaching the second turn and again on the third turn.  Zippy Tesla and Moon Over Mexico collided entering the home straight.  Gypsy Toowoomba checked off Moon Over Mexico approaching the winning post.  Moon Over Mexico tired over the concluding stages.

Lala Missouri – Late scratching at 10.43am when Mrs Andrea Dailly reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rahim Bale was slow to begin.

Soda Saville, Crackerjack Suni and William Rose collided soon after the start.  Crackerjack Suni, William Rose and Thylacine collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Way To Important and Aragog collided on the first turn.

Party Lights – Late scratching at 3.45pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Robin Moore was fined $100.

Annie Rose - Late scratching at 4.58pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) on route to the boxes due to a left front sprained toe.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

The start was delayed by approximately 7 minutes due to the late scratching of Annie Rose.

Kanji Giant, My Mate Tip and Uforo Bale collided soon after the start checking Kanji Giant and My Mate Tip.  She's So Amazing, Kanji Giant and Nenna Tears collided on the first turn checking Kanji Giant.  She's So Amazing and My Mate Tip collided approaching the second turn.

Call Me Buster and Invictus Rising collided soon after the start.  Keep It Black checked off Mirror Illusion checking Isolating approaching the first turn.  Isolating and Keep It Black collided on the first turn.  Do Good Davlin checked off Invictus Rising on the first turn checking Mirror Illusion.  Isolating, Keep It Black and Call Me Buster collided approaching the second turn checking all three greyhounds.

Abelero Bale and Javi collided soon after the start.  Carry On Star, Earn The Answers and Lala Kiwi collided soon after the start.  Abelero Bale and Javi collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking Javi.  

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Run Baba Run with Mr Jeff Galea and noted his comments. Run Baba Run underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was cleared to race. 

Lucky Lance and Tiberia Bale collided soon after the start.  Mepunga Warrior and Lucky Lance collided on the first turn.  Lucky Lance and Run Baba Run collided in the home straight.  

Knicks Bale crossed in soon after the start checking Floral Lace, Five Star, Here's Tears and Hank The Hustler.  Here's Tears checked off Five Star approaching the first turn.  Here's Tears and Floral Lace collided on the third turn.  Five Star and I'm Easy Boys collided approaching the home turn.  

Hank The Hustler underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a laceration to the left achilles.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Five Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Paul Abella regarding the performance of Five Star. He stated that interference early after the start placed the greyhound in an unfavourable position as it needs to be in the lead or on pace to be competitive but was nonetheless positive of the performance of the greyhound.

I'm Easy Boys – Was ordered to wear an anti-aggression muzzle in all future events in accordance with GAR 71A. 

Post-race samples were taken from Gypsy Wyong (1st), Hank The Hustler (2nd) and Knicks Bale (3rd).

Zippy Zenvo was slow to begin.

Carry On Liam, Wedding Or Baby and Weblec Thunder collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds.  Gypsy Bun, Daph's Zac and Javier Bale collided on the first turn.  Wedding Or Baby checked off Zippy Zenvo on the second turn.  Daph's Zac and Javier Bale collided in the home straight.  

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Crackerjack Lach with Mr Paul Hammerstein and noted his comments. Crackerjack Lach underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was cleared to race.
