Steward's Report
Limburg Rapid fell on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Noah Charles underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left wrist; no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Peter McLean regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the front straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Noah Charles was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr McLean pleaded guilty to the charge, Noah Charles was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
