Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Jasmine Keeping.
A pre–race sample was unable to be obtained from Victoria Belle, a post–race sample was subsequently taken.
Victoria Belle was quick to begin. Kanji Tank was slow to begin.
Spark Out underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was then re-examined following race 4. Spark Out was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr B. Klemke regarding Spark Out's racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Spark Out was charged with marring. Mr. Klemke pled guilty to the charge, Spark Out was suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127 and GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
