A pre-race sample was taken from Flying Pie.
Riverside Ben was slow to begin and tailed off, underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported the greyhound sustained a right hind hip injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr. K. Howat, and acting in accordance with GAR129(b), directed the connections produce a veterinary certificate certifying that the greyhound is not suffering from an injury or condition to the satisfaction of the Stewards before being eligible for further nomination.
