Don't Ignore Me was quick to begin. Moon's Are Light and Jesse's Shout were slow to begin.
Queen Amarok marred Don't Ignore Me at the 50m mark.
Queen Amarok underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Michelle Mallia regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Queen Amarok was charged with marring. Michelle Mallia pleaded guilty to the charge and Queen Amarok was suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
