Steward's Report
Fighting Boxer – Late scratching at 1:13pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Waylon Kee informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Kee that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Arrow Bar Teddy underwent a post-race veterinary examination after being checked turning off the back straight and losing ground. No apparent injury was reported.
