Steward's Report
Ten Dollar Slaps – Late scratching at 6.22pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a papilloma on the right foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Endurance stumbled at box rise and lost ground. Mcivor Rusty and Tzar's Ghost collided on the first turn checking Tzar's Ghost. Mcivor Rusty clipped the heels of Aston Pride approaching the second turn severely checking Aston Pride. Endurance, Catch Me Out, Bell Topper and Blazer Nation collided on the second turn severely checking Bell Topper which tailed off as a result.
Bell Topper underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Aston Pride underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have minor abrasion on left hind toes. No stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Mcivor Rusty - the winner of the event.
