Steward's Report
The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Fernando Alessia with trainer, Ms Deborah Coleman and noted her comments.
Fernando Alessia, Zipping Finch and Moist Morton were slow to begin.
Autumn Lynx marred Fernando Hope on the home turn. Fernando Hope and Zipping Margo collided in the home straight.
Autumn Lynx underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Shane Keating, the trainer of Autumn Lynx regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Autumn Lynx was charged with marring. Mr Keating pleaded guilty to the charge, Autumn Lynx was found guilty and suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2)(b) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
