Steward's Report
Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
A pre-race sample was taken from Perfectly Poised.
Indy Fido and Sunstruck were slow to begin. Indy Fido checked off Living The Lie soon after the start. Zippy Tesla crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Perfectly Poised. Hardcore Vibes and Perfectly Poised collided in the front straight. Slick Sister, Living The Lie and Indy Fido collided approaching the first turn. Wizardry Things and Slick Sister collided on the first turn. Living The Lie and Indy Fido collided approaching the second turn. Sunstruck galloped on the heels of Living The Lie entering the back straight and fell as a result. Wizardry Things checked off Slick Sister approaching the third turn and again entering the home straight.
Sunstruck was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind toe as well as injuries to the right calf and right back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
