Essential persons (both staff and participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face masks, observed social distance requirements and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Major Cyclone was slow to begin.  Black Sky Limit and Invictus Xavier collided on the first turn severely checking Black Sky Limit.  Invictus Xavier galloped on Freeman’s Hope on the first turn. Freeman’s Hope and Invictus Xavier collided approaching the home turn.  Black Sky Limit and Invictus Xavier collided approaching the winning post.

Saint Bluey was slow to begin.  Genial Jed, Red Nangana and Extreme Harriet collided soon after the start.  System Issues and Inside Job collided approaching the home turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.

Party Doll was quick to begin.  Zipping Chew was slow to begin.  Bon Yogi, Propelled and Party Doll collided on the first turn severely checking Propelled which stumbled as a result and lost ground. Bon Yogi and Party Doll collided approaching the home turn checking Party Doll and Prada Gem.

Total Babe underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the left front foot.  No stand down period was imposed.

Sneaky Mojo, Courting and Throw Caution collided on the first turn.  Lemonade Kid, Courting and Throw Caution collided approaching the home turn checking Lemonade Kid and Courting.

Oliver Bale, Flywheel Dolly and Dr. Lynch collided on the first turn checking Flywheel Dolly.  Dr. Lynch was checked off Main Force approaching the home turn checking Flywheel Dolly and Dr. Lynch.  Main Force and Mr. Bob collided on the home turn.  Went For Swim and Lavish Diamond collided entering the home straight.

Bearing Gold and Fab Rocket collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Mclinden and Aston Kayee collided on the first turn.  Bearing Gold raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Kingston.

Parabellum, Greysynd Spectre and Get Around Me were quick to begin.  Parabellum was checked off Greysynd Spectre on the first turn.  Shot Gun Pistol, Get Around Me and Zipping Kingston collided on the first turn checking Shot Gun Pistol and severely checking Get Around Me and Zipping !ingston, Get Around Me fell as a result.  Waipahu and Shot Gun Pistol collided approaching the home turn.  Waipahu tired and lost ground over the concluding stages of the event.

Waipahu underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Get Around Me underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Zipping Kingston underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Waipahu, Mr David Kerr in regards to the greyhounds performance and noted his comments.

Hook Along Book was quick to begin.  Star Magic was slow to begin.  Rumour File and Talk Talk Talk collided approaching the first turn checking Rumour File.  Hugo and Talk Talk Talk collided on 5he first turn checking Hugo.  Star Magic was checked off Romeo Bale approaching the home turn causing Star Magic to stumble and lose ground.  Rumour File was checked off Romeo Bale on the home turn.

Star Magic underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hock.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Star Magic - in accordance with GAR 75 (1), Stewards requested Mrs. M. Brown report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Star Magic in this event, which was not noted by Stewards or the on track Veterinarian during or immediately after the event.  

Suplementary Report - 5 August 2021:

Trainer, Mrs. M. Brown notified Stewards that Star Magic was found to have a torn right plantar ligament with avulsion chips and dislocated central tarsal bone.

Weeona Pete and Loretta Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Loretta Bale. Flywheel Bella was checked off Aston Atlas on the first turn severely checking Flywheel Bella.

King Of Glory was slow to begin.  Concrete Fever stumbled soon after the start and lost ground. Miers, Concrete Fever and Dinkydi Asset collided on the first turn checking Concrete Fever.  Dr. Archer was checked off Callum’s Capers on the first turn.  Concrete Fever raced wide in the home straight.

Combust and Security Man collided soon after the start checking Combust.  Walk Me Home and Jenny Kay Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Jenny Kay Rose.
