Catch The Thief, Smart As Jack, Gypsy Yankee, Tinker Craig and Dream Wizard collided soon after the start checking all five greyhounds. Aston Rupee and Dream Wizard collided on the first turn and on the second turn. Dream Wizard galloped on Hazey Roy on the second turn. Tinker Craig and Dream Wizard collided approaching the home turn causing Tinker Craig to fall as a result. Smart As Jack and Dream Wizard collided several times approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Catch The Thief and Hazey Roy collided on the home turn.
