Blazin' Sushi– Late scratching at 12.59pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to elevated temperature.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) starter, Miss O Cartechini did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Tommy's No Angel was quick to begin.  West On Klinger was slow to begin.

Forever A Dream checked off Tommy's No Angel on the first turn and again entering the back straight.

Lakeview Lola and Gypsy Tenille collided on the first turn.  Lakeview Lola checked off Cayden Bale on the second turn causing Lakeview Lola and Gypsy Tenille to collide checking both greyhounds; Gypsy Tenille raced wide as a result.  Cayden Bale raced wide in the back straight.  Romy Riccarton checked off Nikephoros on the home turn.  Lakeview Lola checked off Cayden Bale in the home straight.

Moraine Izzy, Galloping Run and Why Yes were quick to begin.

Sky And Thunder and Brilliant Brian collided approaching the first turn.  Brilliant Brian checked off Moraine Izzy on the first turn.  Sky And Thunder checked off Brilliant Brian on the first turn.  Why Yes, Galloping Run and Sky And Thunder collided on the fourth turn checking all three greyhounds.  Brilliant Brian and Moraine Izzy collided on the fourth turn and again approaching the home turn.  Galloping Run and Brilliant Brian collided entering the home straight.

Miers and Nitro Nikki collided soon after the start.  Tough Crowd checked off Pheme approaching the first turn causing Tough Crowd and Miers to collide checking Nitro Nikki and Confirm.  Nitro Nikki and Confirm collided approaching the second turn and again on the third turn.  Flying Hurricane checked off Postman Pickett approaching the home turn causing Flying Hurricane, Tough Crowd and Pheme to collide.  Tough Crowd and Pheme collided in the home straight.

Resurgence and Rear View Mirror collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Resurgence and Rear View Mirror collided approaching the first turn.  Kiss Me Kate, Kayden's Tiger, Lady Kin Lee and Bruree Town collided on the first turn.  Lady Kin Lee checked off Kayden's Tiger approaching the second turn checking Kayden's Tiger.

Vice Grip and Venus Light collided soon after the start.  Vice Grip, Venus Light and Fairytale Wish collided approaching the first turn.  Grace's Spirit, Vice Grip, Venus Light and Fairytale Wish collided on the first turn checking Venus Light and Willem Powerfish, both greyhounds lost ground.  Bessie's Daisy checked off Grace's Spirit entering the front straight.  Venus Light and Willem Powerfish collided in the front straight.  Vice Grip, Fairytale Wish and Brady's Shout collided on the second turn.  Grace's Spirit and Fairytale Wish collided entering the back straight.  Vice Grip, Grace's Spirit and Fairytale Wish collided on the fourth turn checking Vice Grip.  Venus Light and Willem Powerfish collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Coalville Chief, Golden Ration and Invictus Kelly collided soon after the start checking Golden Ration and Invictus Kelly.  Sedona and Gregarious collided approaching the first turn.  Invictus Kelly checked off Coalville Chief approaching the first turn.  Sedona and Gregarious collided on the first turn.  Coalville Chief and Go Nera collided approaching the second turn.  Coalville Chief checked off Go Nera on the second turn, Coalville Chief lost ground.  Golden Ration and Invictus Kelly collided in the back straight.  Coalville Chief stumbled and raced wide approaching the home turn.

Coalville Chief underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sand burn to the left hind paw.  No stand down period was imposed.

Demolition and High Plain were quick to begin.

Rezzie's Choice and Entranced collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  High Plain raced wide on the third turn.  High Plain tired over the concluding stages of the event.
