A pre-race sample was taken from Halwes.
Star Ballerina was quick to begin. Halwes was slow to begin.
Razor Roy and Gypsy Hook collided approaching the first turn. Major Bourbski, Harrell Bale and Hawles collided on the first turn. Majestic Way and Why Not Lilah collided entering the back straight.
Razor Roy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle and right groin muscle injuries. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued Mr. Michael Niele with a warning pursuant to GAR 86(o) after he negligently failed to catch Star Ballerina in this event.
