All persons attending the venue today carried face-masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
Alkonost– New declared weight of 25.8 kg, last raced at 27.0 kg.
Jackie Speedy was quick to begin. Callum's Capers was slow to begin. Zipping Finch crossed in on the first turn checking Hickory Pandora which lost ground and severely checking Celtic Deed and Alkonost; both greyhounds subsequently fell, checking Totally Bella and Blazing Burger as a result.
Celtic Deed underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an adrasion on the calf muscle. No stand down period was imposed.
Alkonost underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
