Track curator Mr. T. Godfrey advised that the track was lightly harrowed on Sunday 18 April 2021.

Aston Rhone was slow to begin.

Zheng and Mink Lake collided approaching the first turn.  Post Office Girl, Mink Lake, Sweet Petit and Reloaded collided on the first turn checking Sweet Petit.  Aston Rhone checked off Off It's Chops approaching the second turn.  Post Office Girl and Aston Future collided entering the back straight.  Sweet Petit and Off It's Chops collided entering the back straight.  Zheng checked off Mink Lake approaching the third turn checking Zheng.  Aston Future and Reloaded collided on the home turn.  Post Office Girl and Mink Lake collided on the home turn.  Aston Rhone checked off Post Office Girl entering the home straight.  Mink Lake and Zheng collided entering the home straight checking Zheng.

So Predictable was slow to begin.

Tekki Nibbles and Aston Ulysses collided approaching the first turn.  Bounce Back, Tekki Nibbles, Aston Ulysses and Yeah Easy collided on the first turn checking Tekki Nibbles.  Aston Ulysses and Yeah Easy collided approaching the second turn.  Aston Ulysses, So Predictable, Yeah Easy and Star Blazer collided on the third turn checking Aston Ulysses, severely checking Star Blazer and causing So Predictable to fall.

So Predictable underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Jarick Bale, Notoriety and Wedding Or Baby were slow to begin.

Two Phones and Assassinate collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Westar Aileen, Two Phones and Assassinate collided on the second turn severely checking Westar Aileen.  Notoriety and Wedding Or Baby collided on the second turn checking Notoriety.  Two Phones crossed in approaching the third turn checking Oamaru Bale.  Notoriety and Westar Aileen collided approaching the home turn checking Notoriety.

Auspicious Queen was slow to begin.

How Not Too and Angel Glow collided soon after the start.  Zero Cool and Devel Sixteen collided approaching the first turn checking Zero Cool.  Angel Glow crossed in on the first turn checking How Not Too and Auspicious Queen.  Highly Explosive and Angel Glow collided approaching the second turn checking Angel Glow.  Annie Rose crossed in in the back straight checking Zero Cool.

Katathani Kid was slow to begin.

Harper's Girl, Starlight Amy and Ambitious collided soon after the start checking Starlight Amy and Ambitious.  Starlight Amy and Ambitious collided approaching the first turn checking Starlight Amy.  Harper's Girl and Sonny Daze collided approaching the first turn.  Sonny Daze checked off Harper's Girl on the first turn and collided with Perfect Colour.  Krakatoan and Aston Nino collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Aston Nino and Perfect Colour collided on the second turn checking Aston Nino, Katathani Kid, Sonny Daze and Perfect Colour.

California Gold, It's Not Fun, Carry On Liam, Fractured and Low Blow collided soon after the start checking It's Not Fun, Carry On Liam and Fractured.  Father Phevos, California Gold, Low Blow and Kenny The Brute collided approaching the first turn checking Low Blow and Carry On Liam.  It's Not Fun checked off Low Blow approaching the first turn.  It's Not Fun and Fractured collided on the first turn severely checking Fractured.  Fernando Frank checked off California Gold entering the front straight severely checking Kenny The Brute which fell, checking Carry On Liam.  California Gold faltered on the third turn and tailed off. 

California Gold underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Kenny The Brute underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hip and a lumbo-sacral injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the third turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Kingfisher Rose, Lakeview Cruiser and Shima Jake collided soon after the start.  Shima Jake checked off Whistling Bullet approaching the third turn.  Lakeview Cruiser checked off Shima Jake on the third turn.  Kingfisher Rose checked off Zipping Walter approaching the home turn. 

This event commenced approximately 7 minutes past the advertised starting time due to the delay with the lights from the grandstand turning back on following the ANZAC ceremony between events. 

Shima Classic, Stiff Wind and Music Event collided in the front straight. Shima Classic and Stiff Wind collided approaching the first turn.  Aussie Secret and Fortuna Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Fortuna Bale checked off Aston Lavinia on the first turn.  Shima Classic and Aussie Secret collided approaching the second turn checking Shima Classic, Aussie Secret, Stiff Wind and Aston Lavinia.  Music Event checked off Shima Classic on the second turn.  Music Event and Aussie Secret collided entering the back straight.  Stiff Wind and Aston Lavinia collided entering the back straight.

Bodine, Stuart Lee Rose, Aston Shine and Mr. Neo collided soon after the start checking Stuart Lee Rose, Aston Shine and Mr. Neo.  He Shall Rodger and Max Tractor collided soon after the start.  Stuart Lee Rose and Aston Shine collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  He Shall Rodger and Mt. View Emma collided in the back straight checking Mt. View Emma.  Mt. View Emma and Head On Bonnie collided on the third turn checking Mt. View Emma.
