Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance withGAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to andcontinue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 &6,followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Unreasonable – Late scratching at 11:29am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to left hind toes abscess.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Kraken Tyson – New declared weight of 31.6kg, last raced at 29.7kg.

Veracruz, Holding Hope and Kraken Tyson collided soon after the start. Slingshot Bailey and Bell Park Dragon collided on the first turn checking Slingshot Bailey. Destructive Riot checked off Kraken Tyson approaching the home turn.

Palmistry and Treacle collided soon after the start. Ghost Ship and Ishmy Rory collided approaching the first turn. Chuck Attack checked off Little Trucker approaching the first turn and again approaching the home turn.

Chasing Opal and Midoriyama were slow to begin. Chasing Opal checked off Aston Roxy approaching the first turn. Midoriyama galloped on the heels of Cash Not Credit on the first turn. Uncatchable Girl and She's A looker collided in the home straight. Cash Not Credit checked off Midoriyama in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Burger-Trudgett regarding the racing manners of Uncatchable Girl approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr. Burger-Trudgett, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Maddox Bale, Midnight Fussed and Aston Tribute collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Last Shot and Last Dance collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Aston Tribute and Last  Dance collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Last Shot and Quirky Phoebe collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Runnin' Riot checked off Aston Dimple on the first turn. Chase Man and Zanzibar Icon collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Aston Dimple and Who Told Gawnie collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Who Told Gawnie raced wide and lost ground entering the home straight. Chase Man lost ground approaching the winning post.

Chase Man underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Chase Man must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Who Told Gawnie underwent a post-race veterinary exanination and was found to have general soreness in both front legs. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Break The Plate checked off Slingshot Pete approaching the first turn. Uniquely Mine checked off Jitterbug Witch on the first turn checking Dewana Be Sure, Break The Plate and Panel. Dewana Be Sure, Uniquely Mine and Panel collided on the home turn.

Elegant Malt and Mr. Daver collided soon after the start. Manitoba and Gigi's Fire collided on the first turn.

Fly By Them, Silver Compass and Lektra Bear collided on the first turn. Lektra Bear checked off Silver Compass on the home turn. Kraken Jess and Silky Rose collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Armani Baby was slow to begin.

Armani Baby checked off Quattro Miss approaching the first turn. Victory Chico, Motor Ace and Storm To Burn collided on the first turn. Laughed A Lot and Storm To Burn collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Kinloch Journey with representative Mr. Jai Formosa and noted his comments.

Young Jebrynah and Kraken Rye collided on the first turn checking Young Jebrynah, Kraken Rye and Aston Cinnamon. Pranjip Comet and Kraken Rye collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Jaimandy Tracey faltered in the home straight.

Jaimandy Tracey underwent a veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left stifle injury and left hock. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Smooth Onyx checked off Aston Logan soon after the start. Cool Story Bro and Starchie collided on the first turn checking Cool Story Bro, Starchie, Western Bay and Scott Wrecked. Aston Logan and Anubis Al collided on the home turn.
