Itchy Kaala was very slow to begin - 4 lengths.
Uncatchable Girl, Enzo's Girl, Hill Top, Pretty Fly and Kirby's Delight collided approaching the first turn checking Enzo's Girl and Kirby's Delight. Hill Top clipped the heels of Uncatchable Girl on the home turn checking Hill Top which collided with Kirby's Delight. Enzo's Girl and Kirby's Delight raced wide in the home straight. Itchy Kaala lost ground in the home straight.
Itchy Kaala underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right thigh muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
