Steward's Report
Crackerjack Kane - Late scratching at 11:32 when Mr Jordan Cooper reported the greyhound to have an elevated temperature (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Swansie Delight - Late scratching at 4.59pm. No penalty was imposed.
Miss Tenzing - New declared weight of 29.6kgs, last raced at 28.5kgs.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade, Ms S. Evans did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Ruby Girl and Crackerjack Pack collided approaching the first turn. Ruby Girl and Dundee Jester collided approaching the home turn.
Miss Tenzing underwent a post-race veterinary examination after escaping the catching pen and was found to have an injury to the left triangle muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke with trainer, Mr Thomas Wark regarding the behaviour of Miss Tenzing entering the catching pen and issued a warning. Miss Tenzing will be monitored in future events.
