Wee Fishin', Zipping Miami and Pyrenees Alpha collided soon after the start. Ready To Launch, Wee Fishin' and Zipping Miami collided on the first turn; checking Wee Fishin' and Zipping Miami. Wee Fishin' and Zipping Miami collided on the first turn, checking Zipping Miami. Wee Fishin' and Zipping Miami collided in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Zipping Miami marred Wee Fishin' in the home straight, checking Wee Fishin'.
Zipping Miami underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left and right wrist and a spike wound to the left hind toe. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr S Coulson, the handler of Zipping Miami, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Zipping Miami was charged with marring. Mr Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Miami was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
