Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Crackerjack Jaws underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right chest muscle injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Kevin Ashton after he assisted Crackerjack Jaws to the starting boxes for a short distance just prior to boxing. Acting in accordance with GAR 49(4), a warning was issed to Mr. Ashton.

Nicko Dancer and Hillbilly Jay were slow to begin.

Tron, Nicko Dancer and Wicked Show collided on the first turn severely checking Wicked Show. Nicko Dancer and Lara Diamond collided entering the home straight severely checking both greyhounds. Tron turned its head inwards in the home straight.

Tron underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the right hind toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. P. Bartlett, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Tron was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Bartlett pleaded not guilty to the charge, Tron was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Belle Curve and Serious One collided on the first turn severely checking Serious One and Warrior Armo. Terka Wye faded over the concluding stages of the event.

Terka Wye underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Terka Wye must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Last Night underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
