Agent Ben and Midnight Storm were quick to begin. Why Not Gazza was slow to begin.

Kimani and Why Not Gazza collided approaching the first turn. Terrah Round contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result checking Kimani, Why Not Gazza and Midnight Storm. Superior Charry and La La Lucky collided approaching the home turn. Kimani and La La Lucky collided approaching the winning post.

Terrah Round underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
