Meg Rose and Rev Up Axel were slow to begin.

Rev Up Axel checked off Meg Rose soon after the start. Perfect Goddess and Rev The Jockey collided soon after the start. Huntly Flyer and Fascinate Candy collided approaching the 250m mark. Meg Rose and Fascinate Candy collided approaching the 150m mark. Huntly Flyer and Boes Bambino raced tight and collided at the 150m mark severely checking both greyhounds. Huntly Flyer and Boes Bambino continued to race tight and collided several times from the 150m mark to the 50m mark. Rev The Jockey checked off Perfect Goddess at the 150m mark. Meg Rose, Fascinate Candy and Rev The Jockey collided at the 50m mark. Huntly Flyer, Perfect Goddess, Rocky Strike and Boes Bambino collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr Jordan Formosa regarding the racing manners of Huntly Flyer at the 150m mark. After hearing evidence from Mr Formosa, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards were satisfied that there was significant race interference and took no further action.
