Bonnie Too Good was quick to begin.  Trendy Touchdown and Indy Juno were slow to begin. 

Kanji Length and Indy Korie collided soon after the start.  Indy Juno and Masani Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Trendy Touchdown checked off Blue Stringray approaching the home turn and collided with Kanji Length, checking Trendy Touchdown and Kanji Length.  Indy Juno shifted out on the home turn and collided with Kanji Length.

Val Ali – Late scratching at 5.17pm when representative Mr R. Britton reported the greyhound to have a spike wound to the left fore (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fleetwood Sam and Rip On Bye were slow to begin. 

Trending Rookie and Fernando's Quest collided soon after the start.  Fleetwood Sam and Rip On Bye collided in the backstraight, checking both greyhounds.  Underworld and She's The One collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Trending Rookie and Weblec Scorcher collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.

Fabriola Ximenez was slow to begin. 

Fabriola Ximenez collided with the running rail in the back straight.  Cruz Out and Five Putt Cal collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Five Putt Cal checked off Jezzali approaching the home turn.  Cruz Out raced wide on the home turn. 

Fabriola Ximenez underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind back muscle injury and abrasions to the left hind foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Forbidden Love was quick to begin.  Bear's Dream and Col Cowboy were slow to begin. 

Weblec Blazer checked off Designated in the back straight.  Salana and Carla Veloso collided approaching the first turn, checking Carla Veloso.  

Carry On Liam  and Cherokee Fawn collided soon after the start.  Shortly after Cherokee Fawn shifted outwards and collided with Grace's Spirit, checking both greyhounds.  Carry On Liam also shifted in soon shortly and collided with Twin Pick.  Cell Block Tango checked off Twin Pick approaching the first turn.  Twin Pick checked off Grace's Spirit on the first turn.  Carry On Liam and Cell Block Tango collided on the home turn.  Twin Pick and Cell Block Tango collided in the home straight. 

Carry On Liam underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Call Me Buster was slow to begin. 

Devil's Disguise shifted in soon after the start and collided with Love Heart, Romeo bale and Waldemar Bale, checking Romeo Bale and Love Heart.  Romeo Bale and Love Heart collided approaching the first turn.  Waldemar Bale checked off Devil's Disguise on the first turn.  Keiki checked off Junk Food Junkie approaching the home turn.  Waldemar checked off Call Me Buster on the home turn.

Fly Havoc and New Jack Swing were slow to begin.

Aston Hebe, Evident and McInerney collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds.  Aston Artemis checked off Osprey Rose on the first turn.  Aston Hebe and McInerney collided on the home turn. 

Knuckled underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hip injury . A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Limburg Blaze, Weblec Gem, Aston Anza and Aston Wonder were slow to begin. 

Weblec Gem, Aston Anza and Aston Wonder collided soon after the start, checking Aston Anza.  Aston Anza brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Apollo One raced wide on the home turn.  Weblec Gem shifted out on the home turn, checking Aston Wonder.

Aston Anza underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race sample was taken from Orcades.

Pure Mania was quick to begin.  Orcades and Super Foot were slow to begin. 

Ricky Racoon checked off Latitude on the first turn.  Javen Bale acollided approaching the home turn.  Latitude marred Pure Mania in the home straight.. 

Latitude underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing to the left hind. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Miss L. Courts regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Latitude was charged with marring. Miss L. Courts pleaded guilty to the charge, Latitude was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cawbourne Cooper was quick to begin.  Saint Jett was slow to begin. 

Mr. Lonely checked off Bush Tiger in the home straight.
