Steward's Report
All persons (both essential staff & participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
Southern Bell and Elephant were slow to begin.
Zipping Quokka and Hickory Pandora collided approaching the first turn. Southern Bell contacted the running rail on the first turn and collided with Hickory Pandora, checking Zipping Quokka, severely checking Southern Bell, Hickory Pandora and Elephant. Zipping Quokka galloped on Junket Jarrod on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Southern Bell, Junket Jarrod and Zipping Quokka raced wide approaching the home turn. Southern Bell raced wide on the home turn.
Southern Bell underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left shin soreness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Hickory Pandora underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh injury and an abrasion to the right shoulder. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Elephant underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
