Dundee Zircon checked off Papaya soon after the start.  Nathan Ryder checked off Papaya on the first turn causing Nathan Ryder and Secret Agent Man to collide; checking Galloping Run.  Nathan Ryder checked off Secret Agent Man approaching the second turn.  Dundee Zircon and Secret Agent Man collided on the second turn and again approaching the third turn checking Dundee Zircon.  Roxy Quaker checked off Papaya entering the home straight.  

Low Blow and Black Hog Ride were quick to begin.

Not Arandt and Kalbarri collided soon after the start.  Aston Glow and Leeky Lee collided soon after the start.  Not Arandt and Kalbarri collided approaching the first turn.  Another Easy, Aston Glow and Black Hog Ride collided approaching the second turn checking Aston Glow and Black Hog Ride; Black Hog Ride lost ground.  Not Arandt and Kalbarri collided approaching the home turn.  

French Beauty and Empire Lad were quick to begin.

Dundee Topaz and Galloping Occy collided approaching the first turn.  Between Jobs and Dorellie Love collided approaching the first turn.  Dundee Topaz checked off Empire Lad on the second turn causing Dundee Topaz and Dorellie Love to collide; Dundee Topaz fell as a result.  Between Jobs and Dorellie Love collided entering the back straight checking Dorellie Love.  

Dundee Topaz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Hostile Raven was slow to begin.

Minter Blaze and Fabriola Acai collided soon after the start.  Minter Blaze, Fabriola Acai and Shim Bob collided on the first turn.  Arcanine and Rockin' Rosie collided in the front straight and again on the second turn.  Rockin' Rosie, Arcanine and Minter Blaze collided entering the back straight.  Rockin' Rosie checked off Arcanine in the back straight causing Rockin' Rosie, Arcanine and Fabriola Acai to collide.  Shim Bob, Arcanine and Hostile Raven collided approaching the home turn checking Hostile Raven, Rockin' Rosie and Fabriola Acai.  

Little Queeny and Friesian Flyer collided soon after the start.  Isotope and Chloe Exotic collided soon after the start.  Even Keats and Somerton Rose collided on the first turn.  Cayden Bale, Chloe Exotic and Moraine Izzy collided on the first turn checking Friesian Flyer.  Somerton Rose and Isotope collided approaching the second turn checking Isotope; causing Isotope, Cayden Bale, Chloe Exotic and Moraine Izzy to collide, checking Cayden Bale, Friesian Flyer, Chloe Exotic and Moraine Izzy.  Friesian Flyer checked off Cayden Bale on the second turn checking Friesian Flyer, Chloe Exotic and Moraine Izzy.  Cayden Bale raced wide in the home straight.  

Rostered Off was quick to begin.  Zipping Miranda was slow to begin.

Cosmic Sparkle, Minter Fly, So Hazy and King Of Calypso collided approaching the first turn.  Cosmic Sparkle, Minter Fly, Motor City Tiger and Zipping Miranda collided on the first turn.  Minter Fly checked off Motor City Tiger in the front straight checking Zipping Miranda. Minter Fly and Zipping Miranda collided in the front straight.

Motor City Tiger underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a right stopper and right shoulder injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Kenny The Brute and Dark Arrow were quick to begin.

I'm Not Budging, Sticker Stinger, Lunar Star and On Gas Blazing collided approaching the first turn checking Yeah Easy.  Sticker Stinger checked off I'm Not Budging approaching the second turn.  Yeah Easy checked off Sticker Stinger on the second turn.  I'm Not Budging and Lunar Star collided on the fourth turn.  Yeah Easy and Sticker Stinger collided on the fourth turn and again approaching the home turn checking Sticker Stinger.

Stewards spoke to the Starter and reminded him of his responsibilities to ensure his mask is correctly fitted at all times. 

Maximum Jemma was quick to begin.

Threadin' Mikado, Lizzie's Entity and Serengeti Icon collided approaching the first turn checking Threadin' Mikado and Serengeti Icon causing Threadin' Mikado, Serengeti Icon, Aston Kipchoge and She Wiggles to collided.  She Wiggles and Close Your Eyes collided in the front straight.  Aston Kipchoge checked off Threadin' Mikado on the third turn causing She Wiggles to race wide.  Lizzie's Entity checked off Maximum Jemma approaching the fourth turn.  Aston Kipchoge and She Wiggles collided on the fourth turn.  Lizzie's Entity and Maximum Jemma collided on the fourth turn.  Threadin' Mikado and Maximum Jemma collided entering the back straight checking Maximum Jemma; Maximum Jemma commenced to lose ground.  Aston Kipchoge and She Wiggles collided on the fifth turn.

Maximum Jemma underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Andrew Broadley, the trainer of Maximum Jemma regarding its performance in this event.  Mr Broadley stated that this was the first start over the 715m distance for Maximum Jemma and after todays run it his intention to race the greyhound over shorter distances in future. Stewards noted his explanation and took no further action.

Saint Rock and Count Me In were quick to begin.

My Father's Son checked off Minter Rise approaching the first turn.  Minter Rise and California Gold collided approaching the first turn checking Minter Rise.  Minter Rise checked off California Gold entering the front straight checking Minter Rise; causing Minter Rise and Chill Out Webby to collide.  Saint Rock and Count Me In collided approaching the second turn checking Saint Rock.  My Father's Son and Count Me In collided approaching the fourth turn.  Saint Rock checked off Count Me In approaching the home turn.  

Minter Rise underwent a post-race veterinary examination after failing to enter the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported. 

Frank's Girl, Jay Bird and Cha Cha Charlie were quick to begin.

Ancho Poblano and Sunset Milo collided soon after the start.  Frank's Girl, Cha Cha Charlie and Jay Bird collide approaching the first turn.  Ancho Poblano checked off Jay Bird on the first turn causing Ancho Poblano to race wide; checking Nowhere Nathe.  Frank's Girl and Cha Cha Charlie collided on the second turn.  Ancho Poblano faltered on the second turn.   Jay Bird checked off Sunset Milo approaching the home turn.  

Ancho Poblano underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
