All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting and catching greyhounds. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Dundee Idol.

Pandora's Star was quick to begin.  Dundee Idol and Matchbox Queen were slow to begin.

Zipping Damsel and Joyous Memory collided soon after the start.  Andrea's Gift and Pandora's Star collided on the first turn checking Matchbox Queen, Burgin Beauty and Andrea’s Gift.   

Alan's Pick and Tinker Yap were slow to begin.

Aston Sabelle and Zipping Gucci collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Sabelle.  Inga Meg and Maximum Coco collided on the first turn checking Inga Meg.  Alan's Pick, Tinker Yap and Joyous Spirit raced wide on the first turn.  Zipping Gucci faltered approaching the winning post.

Zipping Gucci underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fubula injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Weeona Bobby with Mr Stephen Whyte and noted their comments.

Jebrynah Umida was quick to begin.

Weeona Bobby checked off Come On Levendi on the first trun causing Weeona Bobby to stumble and lose ground.  Rush Riccarton checked off Aston Dimple entering the home straight.  

Weeona Bobby underwent a post-race veterinary examination nand was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Mussa Jack and Get On Beers were slow to begin.

Polite Reply, Rock It Jed, Galloping Speed and Get On Beers collided on the first turn checking Polite Reply.  Rock It Jed and Get On Beers collided on the home turn.  

Fashion Icon checked off Chelsea's Love approaching the first turn.  Galloping Occy and Chelsea's Love collided on the second turn and again in the back straight checking Chelsea's Love. 

Chelsea's Love underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr Dennis Langley, the trainer regarding the greyhound’s performance in this event.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Chelsea's Love must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

An out of competition sample was taken from Jazz Opera on 24 May 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Whistling Bullet, Ripplebrook Glen and Eureka Icon collided soon after the start checking Ripplebrook Glen.  Wonderful World and Whistling Bullet collided approaching the first turn checking Wonderful World.  Whistling Bullet and Tinker Ray collided on the first turn causing Tinker Ray to race wide.  Whistling Bullet checked off Jazz Opera on the second turn.  Jazz Opera and Wonderful World collided on the home turn.  Ripplebrook Rory and Tinker Ray collided in the home straight.

Egyptian Tiger, Ebonique and Kimani collided soon after the start.  Joyous Promise and Brother Griff collided on the first turn.  Egyptian Tiger and Ebonique collided on the home turn. 

Mow A Meadow was quick to begin.  Tinker Count was slow to begin.

Pack Of Jokers and More Deductions collided on the second turn.  

An out of competition sample was taken from Why Not Bazzar on 24 May 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Bus Driver, Mighty Tracey and Why Not Bazzar collided soon after the start checking Mighty Tracey.  Lemonade Kid, Bus Driver and Why Not Bazzar collided on the first turn checking Lemonade Kid and Bus Driver.  Lemonade Kid checked off Bus Driver approaching the home turn.  Lemonade Kid and Mighty Tracey collided on the home turn.  

Zander was quick to begin.

Huey's Dream and Agent Ben collided soon after the start checking Huey's Dream.  Zander and Dominus collided on the first turn checking Zander.  Zander, Agent Ben and Chill Out Dusty collided on the home turn.  

Locked And Ready was quick to begin.

Soda Pee Wee and Mala Ruby collided approaching the first turn.  Why Not Opal, Locked And Ready and Roxy Diva collided on the first turn.  Mala Ruby and Remy's Girl collided on the first turn checking Soda Pee Wee.  Missy's Hand, Locked And Ready, Mala Ruby and Remy's Girl collided on the home turn severely checking Soda Pee Wee and Locked And Ready.  

Bean's Multi and Lee Will collided on the first turn severely checking Lee Will which fell as a result.  Shanghai Avatar and Aston Dynasty collided on the first turn severely checking Shanghai Avatar, Nine Wine Wine and Zumi's Swagger.

Lee Will underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
