King Carey, Coalville Jewel and Andrea's Gift collided soon after the start.  Zipping Damsel and Andrea's Gift collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Dundee Idol and King Carey collided approaching the first turn severely checking King Carey.  Joyous Venture and Andrea's Gift collided approaching the home turn causing Joyous Venture, Andrea's Gift and Matchbox Queen to race wide.  Joyous Venture and Andrea's Gift collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  

King Carey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left knee.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ripplebrook Mack, Phil's My Bro, Viral and Jaxson Mino collided soon after the start checking Ripplebrook Mack and Viral.  Aston Dimple and Soda Pee Wee collided on the first turn checking Aston Dimple.  Saint Phoenix, Ripplebrook Mack, Phil's My Bro, Viral and Akina Archer collided on the first turn checking Phil's My Bro, Akina Archer and severely checking Ripplebrook Mack and Viral, Viral fell as a result.  

Viral underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left thigh muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Sunnyside Pride and David Coin collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  David Coin faltered in the back straight and pulled up approaching the home turn.  

David Coin underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Jebrynah Octave was slow to begin.  Akina Harley was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Representative Ms Susan Abela requested an early race endorsement for Moody Girl.  The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian.  Moody Girl will compete in early races until further notice.
