Steward's Report
Runnin' Riot and Glorious One were quick to begin. Aston Malmo and Nancy Baker were slow to begin. Manila Shine ,Max Ruby and Runnin' Riot collided soon after the start.
Yellow And Black galloped on the heels of Raider Bay on the first turn checking Raider Bay, Yellow And Black and Glorious One. Max Ruby raced wide on the first turn. Runnin' Riot and Nancy Baker collided approaching the home turn. Runnin' Riot checked off Manila Shine on the home turn and raced wide.
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Ward, trainer of Yellow And Black, regarding a signficiant market move on fixed odds betting ($41- $8.50) for the greyhound in this event. Mr. Ward stated that he was unaware of any betting fluctuations surrounding Yellow And Black and added that he did not support the greyhound today. He further added that the greyhound was dropping significantly in grade which may have attributed to such movement in betting. Stewards noted his explanation.
