Steward's Report
Fernando Bluey and Fairytale Wish were quick to begin. How Not Too and Sharky Shark were slow to begin.
Sharky Shark and Arlington collided soon after the start. Fairytale Wish, Mr. Neo and Busy Bella collided in the front straight. Fairytale Wish, Mr. Neo, Busy Bella and Fernando Cazz collided approaching the first turn checking Busy Bella and severely checking Fairytale Wish and Mr. Neo. How Not Too and Sharky Shark collided approaching the first turn checking Sharky Shark. Busy Bella and Sharky Shark collided on the first turn. Fairytale Wish and Mr Neo collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Busy Bella checked off Arlington approaching the second turn. Sharky Shark checked off Arlington on the second turn. Mr. Neo checked off Fairytale Wish on the third turn.
Mr. Neo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 3, Mr. Neo was found to have injuries to both calf muscle and shin soreness on the right foreleg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
