Steward's Report
The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.
All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Ingenuity and Run Baba Run were quick to begin. Shetland and Rockstar Ruby were slow to begin.
Jepara and Shantelle Rose collided soon after the start. Jepara and Rockstar Ruby collided approaching the first turn. Tiberia Bale and Shetland collided on the first turn checking Shetland who fell as a result. Ingenuity and Jepara collided approaching the home turn.
Shetland underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the front right leg and a laceration to the right hind leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from People Get Ready - winner of the event.
