Riverdale Bear and Oscar The Scout were slow to begin.
Riverdale Bear galloped on the heels of Honest Keithy on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Riverdale Bear and Honest Keithy collided entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds .
Honest Keithy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left and right calf. No day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr S Chircop, the trainer of Honest Keithy and taking into account the interference sustained on the home turn, issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Oscar The Scout - the winner of the event.
