Lauradale Lass underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 3, no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Whelan the representative for Lauradale Lass regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Lauradale Lass was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Whelan pleaded guilty to the charge, Lauradale Lass is suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bromley was slow to begin.  Bromley and Lynee collided soon after the start checking Lynee which stumbled.  Select Prize and Select Hypo collided soon after the start, several times approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.
