A pre-race sample was taken from So Say.
Midnight Express was slow to begin.
So Say and Elite Paws collided approaching the 300m mark checking Elite Paws. Elite Paws faltered and lost ground at the 200m mark.
Elite Paws underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
