Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Way To Important and Tysons Town were slow to begin. 

Truebelle, Tysons Town and Portelli Punk collided soon after the start. Shared Colour, Pirate Pete and Tysons Town collided soon after the start checking Way To Important. Truebelle and Tysons Town collided at the 300m mark. Shared Colour, Truebelle and Tysons Town collided at the 250m mark checking Tysons Town.

Stewards reminded licensed Trainer, Mr R. Floyd, of his responsibilities pursuant to GAR 109 to ensure that the muzzle on Portelli Punk was securely fixed when returning to the washbay area following the event.

Dimensional - Late scratching at 6.04am when Mr C. Tilley reported the greyhound to have a hip injury. Pursuant to GAR 23(3) Trainer Mr Chris Tilley presented this greyhound to the on-course Veterinarian to authenticate the injuries as reported. A 14 day stand down was imposed after finding injuries to the right pencil muscle and right triangle muscle.

Whisky Hans and Midnight Monarch were slow to begin. 

Max Dynamo, Midnight Monarch and Time To Talk collided soon after the start. Time To Talk shifted in at the 300m mark and collided with Max Dynamo checking Midnight Monarch. Daniel Avocado and Invictus Reality collided at the 300m mark. Max Dynamo, Invictus Reality and Time To Talk collided at the 100m mark. Daniel Avocado checked off Dream Wizard approaching the winning post.

Stewards issued a warning to licensed Trainer Mr A. Paraskevas pursuant to GAR 30 for bringing on course a greyhound not engaged at today's race meeting, without obtaining Stewards permission.
