Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Aston Turbine, Dream Wizard, Mt. View Audrey and Percy's Magic collided soon after the start checking Mt. View Audrey. Run And Carry, Zambora Smokey and Cosmic Ox collided soon after the start. Run And Carry and Zambora Smokey collided at the 300m mark. Run And Carry and Cosmic Ox collided approaching the 200m mark severely checking Cosmic Ox which stumbled subsequently checking Percy's Magic. Aston Turbine and Mt. View Audrey collided at the 200m mark and again at the 150m mark. Dream Wizard and Out Of Sprite collided several times from the 100m mark to the 50m mark.

Gladioli Bale and Broken Drum collided soon after the start. Daniel Avocado, Aston Stealth and Gladioli Bale collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Gladioli Bale checked off Chief's Magic at the 150m mark. Chief's Magic faltered at the 100m mark and lost ground.

Chief's Magic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Flossing crossed in soon after the start checking Faithy Bale and Mepunga Ilsa. Blue Larrikin and Havelock Keith collided at the 300m mark checking Blue Larrikin. Mepunga Ilsa and Havelock Keith collided at the 150m mark. Faithy Bale checked off Aston Onyx approaching the winning post.

Secrets Untold was slow to begin.

Speed Star crossed in soon after the start checking Yeran, Whisky Hans and Golden Years. Whisky Hans and Secrets Untold collided approaching the 150m mark causing Secrets Untold to brush the running rail. Yeran lost ground throughout the event.

Yeran underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Black Opium and Invictus Spirit were quick to begin. 

Snap Decision and Midnight Monarch collided soon after the start checking Midnight Monarch. Snap Decision and Courting collided at the 300m mark checking both greyhounds. Black Hornet crossed to the outside at the 150m mark checking Snap Decision. Midnight Monarch and Aston Clurey collided at the 100m mark checking both greyhounds. Black Hornet and Courting collided at the 100m mark.
